I am a PhD researcher in Petroleum Engineering at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide, conducting advanced research on the flow behaviour of supercritical CO₂ plume migration in heterogeneous and damaged porous reservoirs. My work aims to develop upscaled numerical models that enhance the predictive capability of CO₂ storage processes, with the overarching goal of maximizing storage capacity and ensuring long-term containment.
My research primarily focuses on numerical modelling to optimize injection design, improve sweep efficiency, and advance the fundamental understanding of reservoir behavior under CO₂ storage conditions. This work contributes to the development of more reliable strategies for large-scale carbon sequestration and supports global efforts toward sustainable energy transition and climate change mitigation.
