Prior to joining MST in 2024, Saul was Head of Energy and Resources Research at Credit Suisse for over 5 years, covering the energy, mining, green metals and carbon sectors. He is the top ranked energy analyst in Australia, and is a regular gas and energy commentator in print and broadcast media including Bloomberg, CNBC and Reuters. 

Saul previously worked at Woodside Energy, Australia’s largest energy company, Wood Mackenzie, the worlds largest energy consultancy, and the United Nations and African Union Commission. 

Saul holds degrees in Law and Chemical Engineering.
