David T. Kearns is the Country Manager Australia and New Zealand for the Global CCS Institute, based in Melbourne. In this role David supports the Institute’s members and other stakeholders in CCS development. David is a chemical engineer and technical specialist in CO₂ capture technologies and has advised the Institute’s members and clients around the world on the technical, economic and strategic aspects of deploying CCS. He has authored multiple thought leadership publications and research papers on CCS technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, a Bachelor of Commerce and a PhD in Chemical Engineering, all from Monash University. He is a fellow of the Austarlian Institute of Energy.
