Ilgiz Almukhametov is a Research Associate at Curtin University’s Centre for Exploration Geophysics, developing a machine-learning pipeline for automated processing and analysis of distributed acoustic sensing (DAS). Previously, he led reservoir simulation and HPC workflow automation in industry, bridging physics-based modeling and data science. His interests include microseismicity, bioacoustics, DAS coherence/geometry features, machine learning, and reproducible pipelines for subsea and reservoir monitoring.
